3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 Then came the others to him hastening. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 "When God has created you and what you make?" 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113
