Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
