▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78
God the Almighty always says the truth.
