The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
