The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The believers must (eventually) win through,- 1 They who are during their prayer humbly submissive 2 And who shun vain conversation, 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; 6 But those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors;- 7 And who are shepherds of their pledge and their covenant, 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 these are the heirs 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 Indeed We created man from a chosen soil. 12 which was then turned into a living germ and placed in safe depository. 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected. 16 We have indeed fashioned above you seven paths. Never were We unaware of the task of creation. 17 And We send down water from the skies in accordance with a measure [set by Us,] and then We cause it to lodge in the earth: but, behold, We are most certainly able to withdraw this [blessing]! 18 Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat; 19 And created the tree that comes forth from Mount Sinai – that grows containing oil and curry for the eaters. 20 And lo! in the cattle there is verily a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and many uses have ye in them, and of them do ye eat; 21 And on them and on the ship ye are borne. 22
