The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
