۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
