Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
