The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
