Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
