Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
