Say, (O Prophet): “I call on my Lord alone, and I do not associate aught with Him in His Divinity.” 20 Say: 'Indeed, I possess no power over you, either for harm or for guidance' 21 Say, "No one can protect me from God, nor can I find any place of refuge but with him. 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. 24 Say thou: I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or whether my Lord hath appointed for it a distant term. 25 He knows the unseen and He does not allow anyone to know His secrets except those of His Messengers whom He chooses. 26 Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him. 27 That He may know that they have preached the message of their Lord. And He comprehendeth whatever is with them, and He keepeth count of everything numbered. 28
