So he gave nothing in charity, nor did he pray!- 31 But only disavowed and turned away; 32 Then he went off to his people, swaggering. 33 Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe! 34 and ever nearer unto thee, and nearer! 35 Does man, then, think that he is to be left to himself, to go about at will? 36 Was he not a drop of fluid which gushed forth? 37 then he became a clot, and then Allah made it into a living body and proportioned its parts, 38 And assigned it sexes, male and female. 39 Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead? 40
