Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
