The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
