And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 So when they had gone beyond that place, Moosa said to his assistant, “Bring our breakfast – we have indeed faced great exertion in this journey of ours.” 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come). 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 And how shouldst thou bear patiently that thou hast never encompassed in thy knowledge?' 68 He (Moses) said: 'If Allah wills, you shall find me patient, I shall not disobey your order' 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
