The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
