۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He please, He will take you off and bring a new generation. 16 Nor is that (at all) difficult for Allah. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike 19 nor are darkness and light 20 nor shade and heat 21 Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make any that He wills to hear; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. 22 Thou art naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the truth, to give glad tidings and to warn. Never has there been a community to which an admonisher was not sent. 24 If they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs; the Psalms, and the Illuminating Book. 25 so I seized the unbelievers and how terrible was their torment. 26
