The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
