The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
