3/4 Hizb 52
< random >
It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony). 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
