The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe unto every backbiter, slanderer, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9
