We have explained (things) in various (ways) in this Qur'an, in order that they may receive admonition, but it only increases their flight (from the Truth)! 41 Say thou: were there along with Him other gods, as they say, then they would have brought unto the Owner of the Throne a way. 42 Purity and Supremacy are to Him from what they utter, a Great Supremacy! 43 The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [Allah] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving. 44 When thou recitest the Koran, We place between thee, and those who do not believe in the world to come, a curtain obstructing, 45 and We lay veils upon their hearts lest they understand it, and in their ears heaviness. And when thou mentionest thy Lord only in the Koran, they turn in their traces in aversion. 46 We are most knowing of how they listen to it when they listen to you and [of] when they are in private conversation, when the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic." 47 See what they compared you to. They have surely gone astray and cannot find a Path. 48 They say: "When we are turned to bones and particles (of dust), shall we truly be raised up as a new creation?" 49 Say: "(Nay!) be ye stones or iron, 50 ۞ or anything that you think is harder to be brought to life." They will soon ask, "Who will bring us back to life?" Say,"The One who created you in the first place." They will shake their heads and say, "When will He bring us back to life?" Say, "Perhaps very soon. 51 On the day when He will call you forth, then shall you obey Him, giving Him praise, and you will think that you tarried but a little (while). 52
