And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
