۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
