No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it departs. 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 about the sinners. 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
