Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
