The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 – and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence – 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 Who will be honoured 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 facing one another. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 And extended shade, 30 and gushing water, 31 And fruit abundant. 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 and raised couches 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 And made them virginal, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For those on the right. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
