3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 even though God created both you and that which you have made?" 96 They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire' 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113
