Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ but We caused him to be cast forth on a desert shore, sick [at heart] as he was, 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 “Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?” 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 They used to say before: 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So turn away from them for a while. 174 And see them thou; they themselves shall presently see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 and watch. They, too, will watch. 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
