Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
