Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
