Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
