Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
