Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
