The people of Aykah also gave the lie to the Messengers. 176 When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 So fear Him Who created you and the former generations. 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 So cause a fragment of the sky to fall on us, if you are truthful." 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 Then they belied him; wherefore there laid hold of them the torment of day of shadow. Verily it was the torment of a Mighty Day. 189 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 191

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
