We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
