▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
