The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

ALL PRAISE BE to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 King of the Day of Judgement. 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone we turn for help. 5 Guide us in the straight path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
