Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 on a straight path, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
