Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
