Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
