And (remember) when your Lord called Musa (Moses) (saying): "Go to the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing), 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 'My Lord' he replied, 'I fear they will belie me 12 "My breast will be straitened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron. 13 They hold a sin against me, and I fear that they will kill me' 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 Go to Pharaoh, both of you, and say, 'We are messengers from the Lord of the Worlds: 16 that you let the Children of Israel go with us.'" 17 (Pharaoh) said (unto Moses): Did we not rear thee among us as a child? And thou didst dwell many years of thy life among us, 18 You spent many years of your life among us and then you committed that deed of yours. You are very ungrateful indeed." 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle. 21 “And is this some great reward for which you express favour upon me that you have enslaved the Descendants of Israel?” 22 Pharaoh said: "And what is the 'Lord and Cherisher of the worlds'?" 23 Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe." 24 (The Pharaoh) said to those around him: "Do you hear?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 He said, 'The Lord of the East and West, and what between them is, if you have understanding,' 28 (Pharaoh) said: If thou choosest a god other than me, I assuredly shall place thee among the prisoners. 29 He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest? 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 So (Moses) cast his staff, and lo, it turned into a living serpent. 32 Then he drew out his hand, and it was luminous to the onlookers. 33

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
