Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 when their brother Lot said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 161 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 I ask of you no recompense for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the Universe. 164 Do you approach males among the worlds 165 and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? No, but you are a transgressing nation' 166 They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted." 167 He said, “I am disgusted with your works.” 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We delivered him and his people all together, 170 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 171 then We totally destroyed the rest, 172 And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned. 173 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 174 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175
