And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
