▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 With spreading branches; 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In each of the two Gardens are two flowing springs. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
