The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those that pluck out vehemently 1 and move [in their orbits] with steady motion, 2 and float [through space] with floating serene, 3 And then they speed with foremost speed. 4 Then those who regulate the affair. 5 The Day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion, 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 The disbelievers say, “Will we really return to our former state?” 10 What, when we are bones old and wasted?' 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa. 16 Go to Firon, surely he has become inordinate. 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he quickly turned his back. 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 So Allah, seized him with punishment for his last [i.e. his saying: "I am your lord, most high") (see Verse 79:24)] and first [(i.e. his saying, "O chiefs! I know not that you have a god other than I" (see Verse 28:38)] transgression. 25 Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for him who feareth. 26
