Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the chargers panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
