Al-nahl 7 of 16

۞ God says: "Do not take to two gods, for there is only one God. So fear Me." 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 53 And then, when He averts the misfortune from you, a group among you starts ascribing partners to their Lord! 54 In the end you will reject Our bounties. Enjoy yourselves; you will soon know (the consequences of your deeds). 55 They set aside a portion of the food We have given them for those they do not know. By God, you will surely have to answer for all you contrive! 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 When the glad news of the birth of their daughter is brought to them, their faces turn gloomy and black with anger. 58 And hides from people for shame at the news, (at a loss) whether he should keep her with shame, or bury her in the ground. How bad is the judgement that they make! 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
