▼ 21 The Prophets
Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
Therefore whoever shall do of good deeds and he is a believer, there shall be no denying of his exertion, and surely We will write (It) down for him. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 until such a time as Gog and Magog are let loose [upon the world] and swarm down from every corner [of the earth,] 96 And the certain promise (of Doom) comes near. Then the eyes of unbelievers will be fixed in horror, (and they will cry:) "Ah, woe betide, we were indeed heedless of this, and were oppressors and unjust." 97 Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come. 98 Had these been gods, they would not have gone down thereunto; and all of them therein shall be abiders. 99 They shall groan. They will not hear therein anything else. 100 Verily those for whom the good reward hath preceded from Us, they therefrom shall be kept far away. 101 And they will not hear its faintest sound; and they will forever abide in whatever their hearts desire. 102 The Supreme Horror will not grieve them, and the angels will welcome them, (saying): This is your Day which ye were promised; 103 On the day when We shall roll up heaven as a scroll is rolled for the writings; as We originated the first creation, so We shall bring it back again -- a promise binding on Us; so We shall do. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 Surely in this is a Message delivered unto a people who serve. 106 We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. 107 Say: 'It is revealed unto me only that your God is One God; do you then surrender?' 108 If they turn away, tell them: "I have warned you all alike. I do not know if what has been promised you is near or far away. 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 I do not know if this be a trial for you, or a little advantage for a while." 111 He also said, "Lord, judge (us) with Truth. Our Lord is the Beneficent One whose help I ask against the blasphemies you say about Him". 112

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
